Privacy Policy
The short version: this website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. If you email us, we use what you send to reply and to talk about your project.
This policy explains how Hill Tech Labs LLC ("we", "us") handles information when you visit hilltechlabs.com or contact us by email.
What this website collects
The website has no accounts, no sign-up, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no embedded content from social networks or video services. Our fonts and images are served from this website, so loading a page does not send your information to font or image services.
Small preferences stored in your browser
The site keeps a few small values in your browser's session storage so it behaves consistently while you browse: whether the Inspect mode in the toolbar is switched on, whether a page transition is in progress, and where on the screen you last clicked, which positions the transition. These values stay on your device, are never sent to us, and are cleared when you close the browser tab.
Server logs
Like most websites, ours is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers may automatically record technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. This information is used to keep the website secure and running and is kept for a limited period under the hosting provider's policies. We do not use it to build profiles of visitors.
Email you send us
The only way to contact us is by email at contact@hilltechlabs.com. The project form on our contact page does not send anything from the website; it opens your own email app with a message you can review before sending. When you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include, such as your name, email address, company, and details about your project.
We use this information to reply to you, to discuss and plan a possible project, and to keep reasonable business records. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising. Our email provider stores messages on our behalf, and we may share information with professional advisers when needed to run our business or meet legal obligations.
How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation or project it relates to, and afterward only as long as needed for business, tax, or legal records.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@hilltechlabs.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law; we will respond to requests as the law that applies to you requires.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
